Hassan Ali's photoshoot in Dubai takes action

Pakistani bowler Hassan Ali is ready to get married today in Dubai.

Hasan Ali, earlier this month, confirmed that he was marrying an Indian citizen, Samiya.

"A simple Nikah ceremony will be held August 20 in Dubai, which will only be attended by my close relatives," said the cricketer at a press conference in his hometown, Gujranwala.

The rukhsati and valima events will take place after two or three months in Pakistan, he added.

According to sources, the cricketer and his future wife participated in a pre-wedding photo shoot, followed by a Mehendi ceremony last night.

The images were shared on social networks and created a buzz.

Hasan Ali had stated that, as his family was worried, he could not reveal Samiya's photographs at that time.

He also mentioned that all the images that used to circulate on social networks were wrong.

He would stay in Pakistan after the wedding, said Hasan Ali.

Hasan said he had met the girl a year ago at a random dinner in Dubai, and that his honesty had inspired him.

"Then, with the consent of my family, I sent a proposal that was accepted," he said.

Hassan Ali also invited Indian cricketers. He said he would be happy if the Indian cricketers showed up for their wedding.

"I will invite the cricket team and Indian players to attend my wedding ceremony - after all, we are all partners in cricket," Hasan said.

Hasan Ali is one of the few cricketers in Pakistan, Zaheer Abbas, Mohsin Khan and Shoaib Malik, who married Indian citizens.
