Showstoppers Pak raise voice against Indian atrocities

Pakistani celebrities have gone on Twitter to express their concern over the situation in Indian-occupied Kashmir.

They raised their voices on social networks against the Indian movement repealing Article 370 of the Indian Constitution.

By repealing Article 370 of the Constitution, citizens of the rest of India will now have the right to acquire property in Kashmir.

They can settle there permanently.

Kashmir, as well as detractors of the Hindu government led by Hindu nationalists, see this movement as an attempt to dilute the demography of the Muslim majority in Kashmir with Hindu settlers.

Article 370 also limited the power of the Indian parliament to impose laws in the state, in addition to defense, foreign affairs and communications.

Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has called on Pakistani celebrities to speak out against Kashmir's recent human rights abuses in India.

India has revoked Articles 35A and 370 of its Constitution, canceling the special status accorded to occupied Kashmir by India.

It should be mentioned here that the Indian Army used cluster munitions to attack civilians in Azad Jammu and Kashmir through the LOC and violated international law.

Indian occupation forces have put Kashmir politicians and Hurriyat leaders under house arrest and deployed an additional 70,000 security guards in the valley.
